Yorkshire Screenwriters is a screenwriting development group based on a community, non-profit model, meeting in Leeds, West Yorkshire, with direction and input from a leadership team, and connecting with industry agencies and producers in the region.

The group meets on a monthly basis to share feedback on member scripts in progress, as well as offering our annual 48 hour screenwriting challenge, and Screenwriters' Retreat.

48 Hour Script Challenge

We're planning a 48 hour script challenge, giving writers 48 hours to complete a short film script within set parameters.

The competition will cost £10 to enter, with a £200 first prize.
